It has been a long time since we posted a real update! Mommy is really back to work and Harris has been spending his days with Martina, his nanny. He loves his time with her! She takes him on long walks, they go to the park and watch the swings and do lots of floor play. All the exercise is helping him get much stronger and each day Harris can hold himself up a bit more. Though his head still wobbles a bit our little man has really started to look around and it is fun to watch! When he sees something he likes he locks on and can not be distracted, usually this is reserved for lights but tonight he locked in to Uncle Dan's taco.
The last two weekends have been tons of fun! Last weekend Mommy and Daddy's good friend Marteena (thats right Harris knows TWO Marteena's) came to visit and this weekend Harris got to meet his cousins Ben and Quinn. All the cousins got together
for a group photo - an early Hanukkah present for Grandpa and Grandee! Maybe the biggest news of all is that Harris has started to sleep through the night! The first night it happened I woke up at 3am and waited and waited and nothing. So I got up and made a bottle - surely when Harris woke up the screaming would be uncontrollable - I checked the breathing, all is good. So I went back to bed and dozed off (with my glasses on, I mean it was only going to be a matter of minutes before he would be up - but the next sound I heard was our alarm and about 10 minutes later the stirring from the crib. Last night was the longest overnight so far - to bed at 9:30 and up at 6:15!
